Robert Fallon is a musicologist formerly on the faculties of Carnegie Mellon University, Bowling Green State University, and other institutions.
Purpose
This website makes available photographs, sound files, and tables of information that are not typically published in books and journals. Some of my publications refer to this website in order to provide access to these supplementary materials.
Olivier Messiaen (1908–92) was one of the 20th-century's greatest composers. In this clip, he uses his voice to imitate birds that are also played on the piano and heard on a recording.
